In this role, you’ll represent our trusted brand to farmers and agricultural businesses—connecting their needs with the equipment and services that keep their operations running smoothly. From prospecting and site visits to proposals and follow-up, you’ll be the go-to resource customers rely on for expertise and service.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives on authentic relationships, enjoys hands-on work in agricultural or commercial settings, and wants their efforts to directly contribute to Canada’s food supply chain.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and qualify new business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business
• Conduct site visits, assess customer needs, and provide tailored recommendations
• Prepare proposals and coordinate with internal teams
• Represent Horst Systems at industry events and customer meetings

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of B2B sales or customer-facing experience (agriculture or related industries preferred)
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
• Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Positive, resilient, and results-driven mindset
• Ability to build lasting customer relationships, handle objections professionally, and deliver exceptional service
• Comfortable managing multiple opportunities, taking initiative, and collaborating with internal teams
• Technical and mechanical aptitude to assess customer sites, interpret layouts, and follow safety protocols
