Outside Sales Representative

Job Description:
Pickett Trucking & Logistics, LLC is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing logistics team. This role is responsible for developing new business, building strong relationships with shippers, and promoting our transportation and freight brokerage services.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and enjoys meeting with customers face-to-face.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop new shipper accounts through cold calling, networking, and in-person visits
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
• Present logistics and freight solutions tailored to customer needs
• Generate and manage a sales pipeline to meet revenue targets
• Work closely with internal operations and brokerage teams to ensure excellent service
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
• Stay informed about market trends and transportation pricing

Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience (logistics or freight brokerage experience preferred)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
