Pack Shed Manager

We have an opportunity for an experienced Packing Shed Manager to join our dynamic team in Mildura. Reporting to the Farm Manager you will play an important role in the management of the packing shed. This role will work closely with the Farm Manager to lead our seasonal workforce, to deliver high quality fruit to our customers. Setting budgets and understanding the budget process will be a key part of this role and a sound financial understating would be expected.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervision & productivity of our Packing Team.

· Working with Quality team for assessments of fruit coming into the packing shed.

· Training & providing feedback to Packers on quality.

· Recording key quality & performance information.

· Managing packaging and consumable stock.

· Overseeing dispatching processes.

· Ensuring safe work practices are adhered to at all times.

Key qualifications and Experience:

· Proven track record in a similar role, preferably in fresh produce.

· Minimum of 5 years site Management experience.

· Forklift licence.

· Drivers licence.

· Strong verbal communication skills.

· Flexibility with work schedule.

· Operations experience in a fresh produce perishable environment is preferred.

· Delivery of high quality, results-oriented, customer-focused solutions.

· Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships based on respect and trust across all levels of the business.
