Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Painter’s Apprentice / Entry-Level Painter to join our growing team. No prior experience is required — we will provide full training. If you have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn a skilled trade, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career in the painting industry. You’ll work alongside experienced painters, learning how to prepare, paint, and finish both residential and commercial projects with professional quality.

Duties

• Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas.
• Learn how to mix and match paints and coatings under supervision.
• Support painters by setting up tools, ladders, and equipment safely on-site.
• Apply paint using rollers, brushes, or sprayers under guidance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after projects.
• Help inspect completed work for quality and assist with touch-ups as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and company procedures at all times.
• Show up on time, ready to work, and willing to learn new techniques each day.

Experience

• No prior painting experience required — training will be provided.
• Previous experience in construction, general labor, or handyman work is an asset.
• Must be comfortable with physical work and working at heights (with proper safety gear).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
