Panel Beater / Spray Painter

We are looking for a full time Qualified or Experienced Panel Beater /Spray painter to become a floor manager in our newly renovated, fast-paced workshop in the Eastway Business Park, Ballysimon Road.

The position is based in Keith O’Brien Crash Repairs Limited. The successful candidates will be tasked with ensuring the body shop targets are met daily, while providing a high-quality vehicle body repair service.’ The Job also includes perks.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepping vehicles for repair work.
• Stripping damaged vehicles.
• Repairing and restoring panels to a smooth surface to a highest standard.
• Preparing vehicles for pre-entry into the spray booth.
• Ensuring workshop continues operations under a clean environment.
• Coordinate and organize all repair jobs on the workshop floor to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure all required parts are available before jobs begin to avoid delays
• Manage parts storage, keeping the parts organized.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding parts availability, backorders, and delivery times.
• Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill level, workload, and job priority.
• Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Ensure staff have the correct parts, tools, and information for each job.
• Update job status and report progress to management and front office staff.
• Reduce downtime by planning work efficiently and minimizing waiting periods.

Job Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Panel Beater or similar role in the automotive industry.

· Excellent time keeping and attendance.

· Must be eligible to work in Ireland.

· Strong knowledge of vehicle structure, panel materials, and repair methods.

· Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment relevant to panel beating and spraying.

· Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to €45,000.00 depending on experience

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
