We are seeking a Paralegal to join our market-leading Corporate Investigations & Cybersecurity team in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile, cross-border matters across a broad range of sectors. You will be part of a collaborative team managing complex and multi-jurisdictional cybersecurity matters, ransomware attacks, data breach incidents, regulatory investigations, and compliance projects. The position provides meaningful opportunities to contribute to strategic legal work and gain exposure to sophisticated and challenging legal matters. You will get a unique and rare chance to be an apprentice in a high performing and mutually supportive team with a view to growing into a valuable member of the practice.

The Role
  • Provide legal and administrative support to the team.
  • Prepare, draft, review and manage legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with case-management and incident coordination.
  • Conduct due diligence in dispute-related transactions or investigations.
  • Proofread, check and ensure accuracy of legal documents.
  • Assist the team in consolidating, updating, and maintaining know-how and legal resources.
  • Help prepare training materials, team credentials and other business development materials.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Some relevant experience (2 - 3 years) in a legal firm is required.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Candidates with qualifications in Singapore, Malaysia or other common law jurisdictions are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft office packages and research skills
  • Good academic record.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a demanding workload and conflicting priorities.
  • Takes ownership of tasks and has initiative.
  • Proactive attitude to problem solving and a flexible approach to tackling a wide variety of tasks.
  • Importantly, willingness to learn, friendly demeanour, team-player.
