About our Department:
The goal of the Parking department is to provide adequate parking service by increasing the supply of available parking spaces, enforcement of parking ordinances and maintenance of parking facilities (garages) and equipment.
Parking Enforcement Officer I Position Overview:
This is routine work in the enforcement of city parking ordinances. Work involves responsibility for patrolling a designated area of the city and obtaining compliance with parking ordinances through the issuance of tickets and citations for violations. Work also involves routine safety patrol and surveillance at special events.
Qualifications and Necessary Special Requirements:
High school diploma or GED certificate or any combination of education, training and experience.
Valid Driver's License
