Job Description

We are a strength-focused fitness business seeking a Part-Time Marketing & Social Media Manager (Contractor) to support our marketing strategy, Instagram presence, and promotional efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both planning and execution and has experience growing service-based businesses through digital marketing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a monthly marketing plan aligned with business goals
• Manage Instagram content (feed posts, reels, stories) and scheduling
• Write captions, select hashtags, and support engagement strategy
• Assist with promotions for programs, events, and offers
• Monitor performance and provide basic reporting and recommendations
• Set up, manage, and optimize paid ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
• Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging
• Collaborate with the business owner on campaigns and launches
• Provide general marketing support within monthly hour allocation

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Instagram for a business or brand
• Experience with Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads or paid social campaigns
• Strong written communication skills
• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
• Familiarity with fitness, wellness, or service-based businesses preferred

Preferred Tools / Experience

• Canva
• Meta Business Suite
• Instagram analytics
• Content scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.)

Compensation

• $35–$55 per hour, depending on experience, or
• Monthly retainer of $1,200–$2,000, based on scope and qualifications
