Partner Engineer

We're seeking a Partner Engineer to join our Partner Engineering, Monetization team. As a Partner Engineer, you will be a key player engaging with Meta’s partner ecosystem, empowering partners and their customers to unlock the full potential of Meta solutions. You will operate similarly to a Forward-Deployed Engineer, in close collaboration with Partnerships, Product and Engineering teams. You will identify and deliver new opportunities, drive initiatives to scale solutions and ship production code, accelerating our partners across Business AI, Business Messaging, Commerce, Signals and more.

Partner Engineer Responsibilities:

• Build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Meta product engineering teams and cross functional partners to meet business needs
• Understand partner challenges to define and drive strategies to help partners grow at scale
• Leverage AI tools and agents to accelerate development velocity, automate workflows, and scale partner engagement
• Design and build end-to-end systems, GTM automation, and launch-plan strategies
• Build & maintain scaled levers required to drive product adoption & spend growth across partners to meet business needs
• Use broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with our partners, and independently resolve complex technical and business needs
• Guide workflow changes, and gain consensus from stakeholders while driving toward solutions
• Respond and maintain effective communication with industry partners and internal stakeholders
• Build and manage working relationships with technical counterparts. Mentor and share knowledge with peers, creating positive atmosphere amongst team
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews conducted of your code
• Influence decision-making through presentation of data-centric business topics
• Serve as a subject matter expert within Partner Engineering and provide consultation on domain-level projects
• Keep track of industry trends and build a thorough understanding of the partner ecosystem
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new team members
• Represent Meta and our products, APIs and tools in partner meetings and industry events

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience as a software engineer building and shipping production quality code in dynamic, ambiguous environments
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs, code assistants, AI agents) to accelerate engineering workflows and productivity
• Experience with designing, building, and iterating on scalable software platforms applications and taking products from zero-to-one to a level of maturity
• Experience with open source languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or JavaScript Frameworks
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with shipping reliable, scalable, and efficient code, with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with all appropriate reviewers, in manageable pieces with relevant documentation and test plans
• Experience working in a client or partner-facing role
• Fluent in Mandarin as the role is external facing and will need to interact with Chinese resellers and clients
• Travel Requirement: 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Meta's Advertising product suite
• Experience with the partner ecosystem
