Parts Advisor - Vehicle Delivery Center - East Bay (Benicia)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Parts Advisor will support the sourcing, allocation, inventory management, and supply of critical parts. This position will work cross functionally, communicating updates on parts inventory and overall management of the stock room at the VDC, ensuring excellent organization of parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Source parts from other distribution centers and service center locations, allocating them to vehicle service at the VDC
• Monitor inventory within the parts system, communicating parts updates and availability with relevant team members
• Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries
• Systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts
• Consistently manage the inventory stock level by performing daily perpetual parts counts, and reporting discrepancies
• Proactively maintain automated inventory replenishment lists
• Ensure excellent organization of stock room to VinFast standard
• Collaborate across organization and communicate parts updates and availability
• Escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with Parts Manager
• Act as a point of contact to vendors, providing constructive feedback that will contribute to future improvements
• Pick up and transport parts using van or forklift, engaging 3rd parties when necessary
