Job Description:
A parts coordinator is responsible for processing and packaging items for shipment and receiving incoming merchandise for warehouse storage. Assist in loading and unloading items from the distribution trucks, checking inventory receipts, inspecting the quality and quantity of the items, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas. They also update inventory records on the warehouse's database, administering orders and payments, and responding to the customer's inquiries and concerns. A parts coordinator should have a working knowledge of the mechanical industry, especially on operating warehouse tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with purchasing, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries. Sort and stock receivables.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Ability to use and understand computers to keep records accurate.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Provides additional support to the team to meet the overall goal.
- Able to work in a team environment and able to work independently.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Minimum Qualification
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous shipping and receiving experience.
- 1- 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Bilingual
Preferred Qualification:
- Previous inventory experience.
- Able to operate a forklift.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
