Pca Caregiver Fridley (Flexibe Hours)

At Patience In Home Care PCA Services , our mission is to develop sanctuaries of care for our clients through both employee engagement and establishing a nurturing ethical environment. We patiently care for the loved ones entrusted in our care. Patience In Home Care provides home care nursing services for people with complex medical needs in the North Twin Cities Metro (Anoka County and surrounding areas).

• 17.75 Hours per week (any one, two or all of the shifts below)
  • Mon, Wed, Fri = 6:30am - 8:45am (male client needs assistance with getting dressed and getting ready for work on these mornings).
  • Tues = 5.75 hours (swimming class) - Able to go into water with client.
  • Sunday = 6 hours

• Providing 1:1 care in a loving home.
• Must have a Driver's License with a good driving record to drive the client on errands/appointments.

We are looking for a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patient’s homes in accordance with an established care plan. We can offer flexible scheduling to accommodate preferred hours.

• Responsibilities
  • Provide health care services in patient's residence
  • Perform domestic and household tasks (i.e., light housekeeping & laundry)
  • Assist with client’s personal care activities (showering, dressing, etc.)
  • Maintain patients care records and document provided services
  • Able to help client get dressed for swimming and able to go into the water with the client.
  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

• Skills and Requirements
  • Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in English
  • Caring and compassionate personality

• Helpful Skills
  • Proven working experience as Personal Care Assistant including bathing and toileting.
  • Health care administration skills
