Job Overview

Mindways Consultancy Inc. is looking to hire reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for community care, long-term care (LTC), and retirement home positions to support our employer partners across Canada.

These opportunities involve supporting clients with daily living activities while maintaining dignity, safety, and quality of care. Assignments may vary based on employer needs and candidate availability.

PSW Job Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Support with meal preparation and feeding
• Administer medications as per care plans (where authorized and trained)
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain accurate care notes and documentation
• Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols

PSW Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate (Ontario-recognized)
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Up-to-date immunizations (TB test; COVID-19 may be required by employer)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a healthcare team
• Reliable transportation (required for community/home care roles)
