Job Summary
Split shifts: early mornings, evenings and weekends
This role is focused on 1:1 coaching, strength-based programming, and helping clients build resilient, capable bodies for life. We’re looking for a professional, coachable trainer who values quality movement, long-term health, and doing things properly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 personal training sessions with a focus on strength, movement quality, and long-term health
- Design and execute individualized, strength-based programs aligned with client goals and abilities
- Assess movement, monitor progress, and make appropriate program adjustments over time
- Coach with clear cues, presence, and professionalism — not just instruction
- Build strong, trusting relationships through consistency, accountability, and care
- Maintain accurate client notes and session records
- Uphold Qi Movements’ coaching standards, values, and professional environment
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding scheduling, progress, and expectations
- Work collaboratively within a professional coaching team, sharing insight, feedback, and support to elevate client outcomes
Requirements
- Current Personal Training certification
- Ability to work full-time, in person at our Oakville studio
- Professional, reliable, and clear in communication
- Coachable mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within a team
- Willingness to learn, master, and consistently execute the Qi Movements training system
- Comfortable working 1:1 with clients of varying experience levels and abilities
- Commitment to long-term professional development
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
