Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified passionate and dedicated Group Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, experienced and open to learning in regards to various training techniques, rehabilitation, mobility, body mechanics, barbell training, free weights, form for basic functional movement patterns, injury prevention, group training dynamics and postpartum specific coaching.

They would be responsible for leading small group fitness classes, providing individualized coaching in a group environment, and promoting a healthy lifestyle among our clients. This role requires strong communication skills, organization, a commitment to creating a safe learning environment for the client, and the ability to motivate individuals of all fitness levels.

Duties

  • Lead engaging fitness classes that cater to various skill levels, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, nutrition, and wellness strategies to promote overall health.
  • Provide personalized training in a group environment tailored to individual goals and fitness levels.
  • Foster a positive community atmosphere by encouraging client interaction and support.
  • Manage class schedules effectively, ensuring timely start and finish times while maintaining high energy throughout sessions.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills by motivating clients and helping them achieve their fitness objectives.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workout area and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and feedback promptly.
  • Available to work morning, and Saturdays

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fitness Instructor or in a similar role within the fitness industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills to balance multiple classes and client schedules efficiently.
  • Ability to educate clients on fitness principles, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivation among clients.
  • A passion for health, wellness, and fitness with a commitment to ongoing personal development in the field.
