Pharmacy Assistant/Cashier

Pharmacy Assistant supports pharmacists by performing clerical duties, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service in a pharmacy setting.

• Greets and assists customers, answer inquiries about medications, and provide guidance under the direction of a pharmacist.
• Assists in dispensing prescription medications, prepare and label medications, and ensure prescriptions are stored safely and are not expired.
• Organizes and maintains inventory, restock shelves, and alert pharmacists about stock shortages or expired items.
• Manages the cash register, process payments, maintain patient records, and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
• Effectively communicates with patients to ensure they understand their medications and any potential interactions.
