Pipe Fitter Technician

Pipe Fitter – Commissioning | Offshore (Brazil)

• Execute connection and disconnection of flexible hoses during commissioning and operational readiness activities

• Operate spectacle blinds, including rotation between open and closed positions, in accordance with commissioning procedures

• Perform installation and removal of flange blinds and pipe plugs for system isolation and line preparation

• Carry out opening and closing of hinged doors on piping systems and process equipment during commissioning phases

• Perform strainer cleaning, including mesh removal, inspection, cleaning, and reinstallation prior to system handover

• Read, interpret, and work strictly according to P&IDs, isometrics, commissioning dossiers, and work permits

• Support system flushing, leak tests, reinstatement, and line walk-downs

• Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with FPSO operational standards, PTW, LOTO, and HSE regulations

• Proven experience as Pipe Fitter in commissioning and pre-commissioning activities

• Mandatory experience working

• Strong knowledge of piping systems, valves, flanges, blinds, strainers, and isolation procedures

• Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) and Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) systems

• Ability to work effectively in offshore, multicultural teams

• Start date: ASAP

• Location: Offshore – Brazil

• Rotation: 45 days on site / 45 days off site

• Working schedule: 12 hours per day, 7 days per week

• Contract type: 6 + 6 months (extendable contract)
