Pizza Maker/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other menu items, ensuring excellent food presentation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced food service setting, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
• Ensure all food is cooked safely and meets food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
• Assist in food handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination
• Serve customers at the counter or in a dine-in setting with friendly and professional service
• Follow proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and service
• Support team members during busy hours to ensure timely delivery of orders

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards is advantageous
• Experience in the food industry, particularly with meal preparation or pizza making, is a plus
• Strong understanding of serving customers with professionalism and efficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

• Concord, ON L4K 3B9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (required)
