KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Develop comprehensive resource-targeted schedules with critical paths post-assignment, aligning with budgetary considerations for assigned projects under the guidance of the Project Review Manager.

• Develop detailed resource schedules for key subcontractors.

• Generate weekly and bi-weekly progress reports, analysing actual progress against target schedules and critical paths.

• Oversee on-site progress monitoring activities.

• Create schedules to support claims for EOT and compensation.

• Participate in site meetings to assist the Contract Manager.

• Collaborate closely with the Pre-Construction/Project Review Manager, Contracts Manager, and other relevant stakeholders.

DETAILED ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Tender Stage (If Required)

• Develop tender stage schedules with critical paths

• Create resource histograms as needed.

2. Post Tender

YOU WILL HAVE:

• Demonstrated track record in estimating within the Irish market for over 5 years.

• A relevant 3rd level qualification in engineering, construction, quantity surveying or a related field.

• Previous experience in tendering for projects ranging from €1m to €100m is essential.

• Sound familiarity with subcontractors, construction outputs, and pricing for labour, equipment, and materials.

• Proficient grasp of data analysis techniques.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a strong aptitude for teamwork.

• Competent in handling tender documentation and diligent in report submission.

• Proficiency in computer usage, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and preferably with experience in estimating software.
