About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and self-motivated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team on a contractual basis in the Gold Coast region. You’ll work collaboratively with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) that align with NDIS Practice Standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behaviour assessments (including FBAs).
- Develop, implement, and review positive behaviour support plans in accordance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
- Collaborate with participants, families, carers, and support teams to ensure successful plan implementation.
- Monitor and report on participant progress and goal achievement.
- Submit Restrictive Practice Authorisation documentation where required.
- Engage in regular clinical supervision and professional development.
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or related field.
- NDIS-registered PBS Practitioner (or eligible for registration).
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans.
- Knowledge of restrictive practices and positive behaviour support strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
- ABN and Professional Indemnity/Public Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Driver’s Licence.

Job Type: Subcontract
Pay: $80.00 – $120.00 per hour
