Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
• Apply powder coating or wetpaint finishes to sheet metal products according to specifications.
• Set up and operate spray guns, booths, and other painting equipment.
• Ensure proper paint application, thickness, and quality control standards.
• Inspect painted parts for defects, touch-ups, and overall finish quality.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment, booths, and work areas.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of paints, chemicals, and ventilation procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely completion of painted components.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in industrial painting, powder coating, or metal fabrication painting preferred.
• Familiarity with paint mixing, application techniques, and quality control processes.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting, coatings, and chemical handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.without any restrictions is required.
• HS Diploma or GED is required.
