Preschool Assistant Teacher

Job Overview
Learn Play Move Preschool, a family owned, play based preschool in Arvada is looking for an aide or assistant lead teacher for the winter/spring semester. Hours are 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.

As an aide or assistant teacher, you will assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and supervise children during all activities to ensure a safe and positive learning environment, assist with preparing learning materials and maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom.

Experience in an early childhood environment is preferred but not required. Must have patience and love working with preschoolers! Must pass background/fingerprint checks.

Pay $17-21 an hour, paid holidays.

Duties

• Assist in implementing daily lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and early childhood development.
• Support classroom management and behavior guidance strategies to create a positive learning environment.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and curiosity.
• Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean learning space.
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding children's progress and needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
