A Day in the Life
Take on a pivotal role as a Principal HR Generalist and HR Business Partner and make your mark across our diabetes business teams. As a key HR Business Partner, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing employee experiences while accelerating business success.The Diabetes Operating Unit focuses on improving the lives of those within the global diabetes community. As a business, we strive to empower people with diabetes to live life on their terms by delivering innovation that truly matters and providing support in the ways they need it.
Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. Our HR team will play a pivotal role in the journey to become a standalone company.
This Position will be based in Philippines and will report to a sub-regional HR Leader
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned
Provide HR support to the designated employee population within the region.
Build and sustain trusted partnerships with people leaders, promoting world-class HR practices.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business objectives.
Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
Drive organizational development initiatives to strengthen business capabilities.
Advise on compensation planning, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
Champion an exceptional end-to-end employee experience.
Coach and guide managers on a broad range of employee lifecycle matters.
Support leaders through annual performance cycles, ensuring consistency in goal setting and evaluations.
Lead change management efforts, including communication planning and transition support.
Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive culture.
Utilize HR data analytics and metrics to assess organizational effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Ensure adherence to HR policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
Required Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressive HR experience with minimum 3 years of experience in a multinational enterprise. Masters Degree/MBA preferred
Proven positive track record of working with business leaders
Ability to analyze complex data and drive fact-based decision making
Strong coaching, consulting and influencing skills
Strong understanding of talent management, development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness best practices.
Proficiency in HRIS software. Workday experience is preferred
