Procurement Intern

Summary

This position will serve as support to our Corporate Procurement team in their day-to-day operations which includes interfacing with internal stakeholders across different company orgs as well as external stakeholders. This is a part-time and temporary position located at our Corporate HQ in Boston, MA. This role will report to the Procurement Analyst. The compensation for this position is $18-20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Help to create dashboards and tracking templates for new policies and procedures.
• Review new vendors and determine vendor eligibility through company policy.
• Track and approve invoices.
• Interface with vendors on day-to-day changes.
• Lead a to be defined project for the term of the internship.
• Assist in maintenance of category management.
• Track changes in spend.
• Help promote adaption of new policies.
• Daily review of electronic transactions for compliance.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program focused on business studies, supply chain, procurement, or other relevant study area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Analytical mindset.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with ERP or CMMS systems, dashboards, or PowerBi.
