Procurement Manager (Hybrid)

Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a major international provider whose product line includes high-grade catalysts, specialized engineered substances, and purified chemical products in their search for a Procurement Manager - Industrial Direct Materials based in Alabang.

Salary Range: ₱70,000 - ₱90,000

Work Setup: 3-4x Onsite & 1-2x WFH

Shift Schedule: Mid-Night Shift

Location: Alabang

The role

This position is of critical importance to the enterprise, directly tasked with achieving cost efficiencies, optimizing supplier performance, and driving overall value creation. These objectives will be realized through the development and rigorous execution of effective sourcing strategies and robust stakeholder engagement across our operational sites in the Americas and EMEA regions. They must have proven expertise in commercial relationship management and negotiation within the domain of industrial direct sourcing.

Your Responsibilities:

• Execute sourcing strategies developed by the Category Management team to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
• Lead negotiations and contract development for initiatives each ranging up to $1M USD, with favorable terms and risk mitigation.
• Analyze spend data to identify savings opportunities, demand trends, and supplier consolidation options.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations and engineering, in [list markets], to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
• Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain risks to inform sourcing decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, systems, and reporting tools.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (Masters or Supply Chain certification preferred).
• 5+ years of procurement experience, with demonstrated proficiencies for commercial negotiations with industrial direct materials.
• Prior direct sourcing experience in a global or multi-national industrial manufacturing firm
• Demonstrated commercial relationship management and supplier development skills
• Proven track record of delivering commercial value through negotiated sourcing and supplier management, including conducting RFPs.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, SAC, Ariba, etc.) including PO creation (P2P), release and updating pricing info records and relevant data analysis and proficiency tools, i.e. Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization.
