Product Manager

Reporting to: Director Product Management

Job role and purpose:
At 3stepIT, we believe technology should empower progress and performance. Our IT Asset Management platform IQ helps organizations take control of the entire device lifecycle, making technology use smarter, more cost-effective, and sustainable.

We’re now looking for a Product Manager who will lead the strategic development and execution of our asset management products and services that meet customer needs, drive business growth, and ensure we stay ahead in a fast-evolving market.

As a Product Manager, you will take ownership of the full product & service lifecycle - from planning to release management - ensuring that our offerings are commercially successful, profitable, and with a high attach rate. You’ll work cross-functionally with technology, sales, and marketing teams to strengthen our portfolio and boost adoption across markets.

Main responsibilities & tasks:

Product & Service Strategy and Roadmap:

Develop and communicate a clear product and service vision and strategy aligned with business objectives and market needs

Define the roadmap and prioritize features based on customer feedback, market research, and technological trends

Product & Service Development and Execution:

Define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Prioritization of development plan and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and functionalities

Stakeholder Management:

Engage with key stakeholders including executives, customers, partners, and internal teams to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns

Build strong relationships and manage expectations to gain support for product and services initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure success, profitability and adoption

Collaborate with software developers, UX/UI designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to drive development from concept to launch

Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy:

Plan and execute launches, including developing go-to-market strategies, messaging, and positioning

Partner with marketing and sales teams to drive product awareness, demand generation, and customer acquisition

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Define and track key performance indicators to measure product and service success, identify areas for improvement

Use analytics tools to monitor user behavior and gather insights for continuous optimization

Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify market opportunities and user needs

Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and validate product hypotheses


Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or equivalent training in IT, business, financing or sales related field

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager in industries such as Technology Lifecycle Services, Fintech, Payments, Insurance, or Telecom. This role requires solid knowledge of financial services, preferably with experience in the leasing domain.

  • Product & Service Lifecycle management: Strong product management skills to oversee product development cycles, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable product roadmaps and features.

  • Commercial Acumen: Understanding of business and financial metrics related to product success, such as revenue, profitability, and ROI.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, present plans, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing relationships with stakeholders, customers, executives, and development teams to align priorities and expectations.

  • Leadership and Influence: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority, driving consensus and alignment towards common goals.

  • Customer Approach: Deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, with a focus on delivering value and enhancing user satisfaction.

  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions under uncertainty.

  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation to manage trade-offs, resolve conflicts, and advocate for product priorities.
