The opportunity…

Join our team as a Product Manager for da Vinci Mulitport and Digital. You will work to successfully differentiate and position the da Vinci Multiport brand, including the development of appropriate marketing strategies and tactics, in order to maximise revenue growth and profit. To launch and drive the new digital portfolio of the da Vinci Surgical System.

The successful candidate should ideally be based in Brisbane; however, the role is also open to candidates located in Sydney and Melbourne.

As part of our team, you core responsibilities will be:

Marketing

  • Develop and manage execution of clinical marketing campaigns for focus specialty areas. Area of focus: Gynaecology and Thoracic.
  • Develop and manage execution of marketing campaigns to support capital sales.
  • Develop and execute launch campaigns for new products including all relevant marketing collateral and sales resources. Area of focus: da Vinci Digital portfolio
  • Develop appropriate sales activity to drive adoption of digital technologies.

Key Opinion Leader Development

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in market
  • Undertake stakeholder development activities that add value to the business.
  • Supporting Key Opinion Leaders in clinical education and marketing activities.
  • Develop existing customers to become case observation sites & Epicenters.

Product Management

  • Work with Senior Product Manager to develop and execute strategic business plans;
  • Identify market trends and new sales enablement opportunities through market analysis and research;
  • Undertake sales forecasting activities.
  • Manage the introduction of new products, including pricing, regulatory approval, forecasting, and new product launch strategy.
  • Provide product-related support, resources and direction to the sales team;
  • Manage all pricing and margins for all products within the assigned brand portfolio in conjunction with Senior Product Manager/Business Manager;
  • Comply with all regulatory, legislative and industry requirements for portfolio and product communications and activities;
  • Coordinate relevant tenders and contracts in conjunction with the Tenders and Pricing Manager & Senior Product Manager/Business Manager;

Experience required:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • 5+ years of sales or marketing experience, preferably within the medical / surgical industry;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and work in an environment of change.
  • Proven ability to influence peers.
  • Effective communication skills across a broad organisation with a variety of focuses.
  • Sound computer skills;
  • High standard of demonstrable written and verbal communication skills;

Desirable

  • Understanding of logistics and stock management;
  • Previous experience with managing digital or software product with the medical industry
  • Understanding of MTAA Code of Conduct
  • Understanding of TGA/Regulatory Affairs
