Professional Services Technical Project Manager - Dow Skillbridge Approved

Do you want to help make the world safe from cyber attack?

At Corelight, we believe that the best approach to cybersecurity risk starts with the network. Attackers can evade endpoint detection, firewalls and many other technologies - but they can’t avoid leaving digital footprints on the networks they traverse. Built on open-source innovations from Zeek, Suricata and YARA and refined through years of real-world use, Corelight transforms network footprints from physical, virtual and cloud networks into actionable insights. Our customers use these insights to speed incident response and proactively hunt for threats.

We are seeking a driven and collaborative Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our growing Professional Services team. In this role, you’ll lead and coordinate customer-facing projects for the deployment and operationalization of Corelight’s cybersecurity solutions. You'll work cross-functionally with customers, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes, while also bringing strong technical acumen to understand and support complex project environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end project planning and coordination for assigned customer engagements, including onboarding, deployment, tuning, and operational integration of Corelight solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project coordination between customers, engineers, and Corelight stakeholders.
  • Drive proactive communication and expectations management across all phases of a project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, track milestones and deliverables, and identify risks or blockers early.
  • Ensure alignment with customer success objectives, working alongside Customer Success Managers, Professional Services Engineers, and Support.
  • Translate technical milestones into actionable tasks and clearly communicate status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement by documenting processes, playbooks, and lessons learned.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of service offerings, especially around complex integrations with SIEMs (Splunk, Elastic, etc.), SOAR systems, packet brokers, and threat detection workflows.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management or professional services roles with increasing responsibility.
  • Proven experience managing complex cybersecurity or IT infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to confidently interface with both engineers and executives.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments and handling ambiguity.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a bias for action.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and network protocols (TCP/IP)
  • Experience with Rocketlane, JIRA, or other PSA/project tracking tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SIEMs (Splunk required; Elastic, Humio, or others a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or SAFe Agile certification
