Summary
Location: Surrey office near Guildford Mall
Pay Rate: $80–$100 per hour
Contract Period: 6-month contract with potential for full-time conversion
About the role
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Program Manager is an individual contributor that lives at the intersection of product engineering, operations and strategy. This fast-paced role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, top-notch collaboration skills, and a strong drive to get the job done. Liaising with cross-functional teams and customers, the mandate of this position is to ensure the successful introduction of new products and features, from concept to launch.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate key business initiatives to drive successful execution of deliverables owned by multiple functions. You will also coordinate customer communications and lead both internal and external meetings to bring new products and features to our customers.
This is a hybrid role, with up to two days in office, to facilitate brainstorming, collaboration, and team building. Our office is located across from Guildford Mall, in Surrey, BC.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Own and drive the end-to-end product/feature launch process, including planning, execution, and customer coordination. Lead and coordinate one or many interconnected initiatives under a cohesive program strategy to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Timeline & Milestone Management: Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage risks to ensure on-time delivery. Hold task owners accountable against agreed-upon timelines.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to improve launch efficiency and effectiveness.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all necessary documentation, regulatory requirements and legal requirements are fulfilled.
- Stakeholder & Communication Management: Act as the primary point of contact for program-level communications, actively aligning executive sponsors, product leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders. Present program health, learnings, key outcomes, and data-driven metrics to facilitate critical strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of dedicated Program Management experience, overseeing complex, strategic initiatives (e.g., core technology transformation, digital platforms) within enterprise environments.
- Proven track record of delivering complex customer-facing initiatives across multiple stakeholders and departments.
- Exceptional strategic stakeholder and customer management skills, including the ability to facilitate critical decisions, align senior leaders, and communicate program health based on outcomes and value realization.
- Strong business acumen, enabling a deep understanding of customer and business needs to influence the strategic direction of the program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence).
