ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Systems and Technology team is expanding! We are seeking a Data Analyst to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. You’ll be based at our modern Perth CBD Head Office in the QV1 building, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the team by analysing data, generating reports, and providing insights that drive business decisions.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, doctors, and client relationship managers, ensuring that data is accurately processed and analysed. We have a specific need to support several high-value clients with developing and maintaining operational and KPI reporting.
This position will also work with key internal business stakeholders to ensure our operations teams can verify compliance with contractual timeframes and identify opportunities for process improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position contributes to the organisation by:
- Analysing large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports for key business metrics
- Collating, cleansing, and validating health service delivery data from various internal sources
- Contributing to the knowledge base for Sonic HealthPlus data, including data sources, business logic, and transformation processes
- Supporting the creation of data-driven strategies to enhance decision-making processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights
- Ensuring data integrity and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
- Coordinating and developing dashboards, reports, and briefings for business stakeholders
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- High level of computer literacy and strong knowledge of software applications, databases, and systems
- Advanced data management skills, including manipulation and analysis of large datasets using Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role that includes data manipulation and accurate reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data clearly
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or Tableau (highly desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Health, Commerce, or a related discipline (highly desirable)
- To apply for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold or have the ability to maintain an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (SHP can support you with this application).
