As a Project Director, you will be responsible for leading, governing, and delivering end-to-end GPU- and AI-factory initiatives on Singtel’s GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) platform. This includes overseeing the full project and service lifecycle—from initiation and design through build, integration, transition to operations, and steady-state service delivery—ensuring solutions are delivered with high quality, within approved scope, on schedule, and in full compliance with agreed processes, standards, security requirements, and customer service commitments.

You will also play a key role in supporting customer engagements and business growth by providing project delivery leadership, contributing to tender and pre-sales activities from a delivery and operational perspective, and ensuring that proposed GPUaaS solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with Singtel’s platform standards and service capabilities.

GPUaaS platform Project & Service Management

  • Review and govern the end-to-end project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, transition, security, confidentiality, clearance, to operations, and closure) for GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) platform–based projects
  • Review and approve project schedules, quality plans, budgets, communication plans, and risk management plans for GPUaaS platform deployment and operations
  • Manage scope definition and resolve disputes that may impact scope, timeline, or cost, particularly in the context of GPUaaS capabilities, capacity, and SLA commitments
  • Manage end-to-end integration of project components across the GPUaaS platform stack, including hardware provisioning, GPU cluster build-out, software and platform installation, testing and validation, business process review and redesign, application enablement, workload migration, and data conversion
  • Manage project financials, ensuring accurate cost and revenue forecasting for GPUaaS platform delivery and ongoing service operations
  • Oversee project implementation with respect to timeline, budget, manpower, quality, and service readiness for GPUaaS consumption
  • Monitor and report project and service status to senior management and customers, including GPUaaS platform availability, capacity readiness, and operational KPIs
  • Manage resources and manpower to maximise productivity and efficiency of GPUaaS platform project execution and service operation
  • Lead the project and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from GPUaaS platform build to steady-state operations, in accordance with customer requirements, service processes, and operational governance
  • Manage ongoing project-related operations and ensure GPUaaS service levels are maintained, without delays, service degradation, or security incidents.

Customer/Vendor/ Stakeholder Management

  • Manage contracts, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Effectively engage stakeholders and customers in project decisions and execution
  • Build long-term customer relationships by anticipating customer's needs
  • Lead escalation management and resolve complex commercial, technical, and delivery issues across customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders

Business Development

  • Proactively identify opportunities for further expansion or improvement of services delivered and liaise with Account Manager(s) for development of that opportunity
  • Participate in tender activities by providing project delivery–related guidance to proposal development, and by reviewing scope and risk considerations to support compliance with tender requirements
  • Support pre-sales activities from a technical and operational perspective, providing guidance to ensure proposed solutions or service enhancements are appropriately assessed in terms of feasibility, benefits, and cost

Skills for Success

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management or relevant fields
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in project management or construction management with proven track records in data centre and AI infrastructure projects
  • Possess good leadership with great problem-solving skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills in English with attention to detail
  • Possess strong negotiation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in project management tools
  • Professional project management certifications or equivalent will be an advantage
  • Experience in delivering large-scale projects based on GPU, AI, HPC, or Cloud infrastructure will be an advantage
  • Experience in tender- and contract-based projects within public sector or large enterprise environments will be an advantage

Desirable qualifications

  • Experience supporting and delivering AI and HPC workloads on GPU cluster or GPU cloud environments, with sufficient technical understanding to guide project decisions, assess delivery risks, and align customer use cases with platform capabilities
  • Practical familiarity with orchestration and workload management platforms such as Kubernetes or Slurm, enabling informed discussions on deployment models, operational impacts, and delivery sequencing
  • Working understanding of GPU cluster architectures, including GPU-to-GPU communications, sufficient to evaluate design options, performance considerations, and project trade-offs
  • Experience overseeing or coordinating proof-of-concept (POC), pilot, or trial deployments for enterprise or public-sector customers, including technical readiness validation and transition planning
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory considerations applicable to GPUaaS or mission-critical infrastructure, enabling effective governance across project execution and operational handover
  • Experience contributing to RFP/RFO or tender-based engagements in enterprise or regulated environments, particularly in reviewing technical scope, delivery assumptions, risks, and dependencies
