We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our client’s team in Drogheda. In this role, you will be integral in managing and delivering custom electrical switchgear projects from start to finish. You’ll work closely with clients, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from design and manufacturing to installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical switchgear systems.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, understanding of requirements, and prompt resolution of any issues that arise.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your electrical engineering knowledge to develop innovative solutions that align with client specifications and international standards.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal design, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of projects.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce rigorous quality control processes to ensure the switchgear systems meet the client’s high standards for reliability and safety.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical reports, drawings, specifications, and progress updates for both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Budget & Resource Management: Effectively monitor project budgets and resource allocation to ensure timely project completion within financial constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in managing engineering projects, preferably in switchgear design and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
