About the Opportunity – Permanent – Project Engineer

Key Project Engineer Responsibilities – Civil, Construction, and Infrastructure Projects
- Plan, coordinate, and manage project activities to achieve successful and timely project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and variances, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and effective teamwork.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
- Support and promote health, safety, and environmental best practices, reflecting the company’s core values.
What You Bring – Project Engineer Skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
- 3 - 5yrs Experience working on civil infrastructure projects (New Zealand experience is advantageous but not essential).
- Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach towards continuous improvement.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
