Job Description

This is a nine-month, fixed term contract based in Singapore.
Who we are:

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) works with some of New Zealand's most innovative and forward-thinking companies, helping them grow internationally. Our people are based in 50 offices, working across 24 time zones and communicating in 40 languages to support New Zealand businesses in over 100 countries.
What you will be doing:

This role will support and work alongside the Market Analyst to achieve greater impact and insight for New Zealand exporting companies to help customers establish and grow their business internationally. The work you will do will be general research support and will involve working in a proactive manner, hunting for knowledge, trends and insights to benefit New Zealand exporting companies across the region. This role and team are an essential part in supporting the NZTE strategy for the South East and East Asia region.
What you will need to be successful: Education – Market analysis or similar study. Relationship Builder – Deep listener, who takes time to really understand, along with being a team player. Flexible – Able to be proactive and reactive all at the same time, managing multiple priorities and eliminating roadblocks without being knocked off balance by the unexpected. Eye for Detail – Ensure the details are accurate with the ability to ask questions when not sure. Extras – Tech savvy with strong computer literacy in MS Office products is essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
