Project Manager

JTAM Engineering LLC serves the Midstream Energy Industry providing project management, multi-discipline engineering and design, quality assurance, and procurement support across all phases of development and delivery, including framing initial concepts and support through Final Investment Decision to detailed engineering, commissioning, and startup. JTAM is an industry leader in the design and delivery of midstream energy projects, capital pipelines, production facilities, compressor and pump stations, multi-phase flow studies, rail, marine, and tank terminals.

Title: Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for project development and execution, fostering client relationships, managing engineering and design team performance, controlling budget and reporting on progress, productivity, schedule and safety performance. This is a seller-doer Project Management position.

• Commitment to establishing a solid project execution plan and managing to a predictable outcome
• Project development from concept through commissioning
• Leadership in scope development, organization, cost and schedule controls for comprehensive integrated project teams including client staff, multiple subcontractors, fabrication and construction contractors as well as JTAM Engineering and Design team
• Contractor Selection, Contracts development and negotiations, and Contract management

Minimum eight (8-15) years of experience in Engineering and Project Management of onshore midstream facility and/or pipeline projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Professional Engineer (PE) desired
• Strong leadership and communication skills with knowledge in the industry
• Extensive background in project development along the Texas Gulf Coast
• Working knowledge of local industry contractors, vendors, clients and suppliers.
• Extensive knowledge of midstream facilities and pipelines
• ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8
