Client is leading global financial institution with a strong presence in Asia, Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. In the Asia-Pacific region, thr Client operates key hubs in Singapore and Hong Kong, providing comprehensive financial services across corporate banking, markets, treasury, and risk management.
Client is committed to leveraging advanced technology platforms to deliver innovative solutions, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain robust risk governance. As part of this commitment, the Group invests in industry-leading systems such as Murex to support end-to-end trade processing, risk analytics, and regulatory compliance across multiple asset classes.
Client has embarked on strategic initiative to consolidate it's Banking and Investment Banking arm into one. Towards that end it is hiring project manager to drive this consolidation exercise leading to:

Client has embarked on strategic initiative to consolidate it's Banking and Investment Banking arm into one. Towards that end it is hiring project manager to drive this consolidation exercise leading to:
- Accelerated delivery of strategic platform programs, minimizing risk and downtime.
- Improved cross-team collaboration and decision-making across geographies and functions.
- Ensure Murex enhancements meet business, risk, and compliance requirements in a complex regulatory environment.
- Support of scalable, efficient operations that position the Client for future growth.
Responsibilities
Responsible for end-to-end coordination, governance, and delivery oversight of middle-office initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional risk priorities, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
Project Plan & Framework:
?? Ensure that the project framework ,process and controls are followed and aligned with SEIBI program
?? Validate the Markets Project WBS prepared by Markets SI
?? Ensure to get the updated WBS from Markets SI on regular basis
Planning & Coordination:
?? Ensure that scheduled tasks are completed on-schedule and there is no delay in tasks in critical path
?? Regular meeting with Markets SI PM and Markets stakeholders
?? Heads up to Markets stakeholders on the upcoming activities
Cost and Timeline management:
??Monitor the cost usage (against AFA) at Markets level
??Ensure the Markets timeline is not breached and flag the potential delay and work on the mitigation plan
Stakeholder engagement & Status reporting:
??Engage Markets level stake holders and update on the status on regular basis
??Share Markets level status input to the Release PMO
??Prepare RAG status report for Markets
??Maintain communication matrix for Market
Deliverables & Signoff:
??Ensure that Markets deliverables meet the SEIBI standard
??Ensure all deliverables are either accepted or signed off
Risk/Issue management:
??Identify Markets specific risk and document the mitigation plan
??Maintain Markets project Risk register. Make sure it is captured in JIRA
??Escalation of risks on-time before turning it into issue
??Provide input to release PMO to compile the project level risks
Skills
Must have
Overall 20+ years of experience in Banking Projects implementations
At least 10+ years of experience in Project Management & Program Management
Strong understanding of Treasury systems' end to end processes
Experience in managing senior stakeholders
Manages risks and issues effectively.
Excellent leadership and management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience on handling at least 1 murex upgrade project,
Project management tools exposure (Jira etc.) & scrum certification
Nice to have
Project Management Certification (PMP) or Agile Certification
Experience with Murex
