Property Manager ( 3 Years Of Experience Required)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of Ashbury & Winding Brook apartments in Kokomo Indiana. Excellent bonus system for proven results. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of property leasing and maintenance, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires effective communication and negotiation skills, as well as knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units, conducting property showings, and processing applications.
• Maintain accurate data entry for tenant records, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
• Foster positive relationships with tenants by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate property maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs and inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws governing property management.
• Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
• Keep thorough records of all transactions, communications, and maintenance activities related to the properties managed.
• Collaborate with office staff to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency in property management tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and customer relationship management practices.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC requirements is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for effective file management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in using office software for data entry and record keeping; experience with property management software is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills to facilitate lease agreements and resolve tenant issues effectively.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
