Purchasing Intern

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
LVMH Beauty is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the procurement function within the luxury beauty industry, across key indirect categories with a focus on merchandising & marketing topics.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Legal) to understand their needs and ensure procurement objectives align with business goals.
• Assist in the end-to-end procurement process across indirect categories, including but not limited to:

• Merchandising
• Point of Sale elements
• Print
• Events Management
• Creative
• Communications

• Support the Procurement team in supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Prepare and analyze RFQs (Requests for Quotation), RFPs (Requests for Proposal), and other procurement documents.
• Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with LVMH Beauty's standards and policies.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving procurement efficiency and cost savings.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
• A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
• Strong interest in procurement and the luxury beauty industry
