Job Title: Purchasing Assistant

Role: Description

Supporting the running of a very busy head office in a P2P role that supports sales

Main Responsibilities and Duties Includes

· Updating the company system (Business Central) with accurate data on purchased products, customers and vendors where required

· Accurately processing of data from computer system to excel files and vice versa

· Placing orders with Vendors, following up on due dates, arranging transport as required

· Reviewing purchase orders against invoices and querying differences before posting for payment

· Posting invoices once shipment has been booked in by the Warehouse

· Forecasting products based on sales

· Answer and resolve all phone / email queries in a timely manner

· Help prepare / pull reports for other departments as required

· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Purchasing Manager/Management

Experience Required

· Good working knowledge of Excel including pivot tables is must

· Business Central experience an advantage

· Minimum 2 Years of purchasing experience

· Forecasting

· Proficient in English

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent communication skills and phone manner

· Focused and Hardworking

· Able to work part of a team and customer service focused
