Role Overview

As a QA Manager at ITsPeople, you will lead and optimize QA teams for our clients, implement QA strategies, manage relationships with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in software testing processes. You will collaborate with development, product and operations teams, to ensure high-quality software delivery and efficient test execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA strategies and testing standards, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
• Lead and mentor QA teams to enhance software quality.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to align testing efforts with business goals.
• Design and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Manage defect tracking, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Implement and oversee CI/CD test automation processes.
• Report on QA metrics and process improvements to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• ISTQB Test Manager and/or TMAP certification.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in QA teams, proven experience in managing complex testing processes in large-scale IT (transformation) projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
• CI/CD and DevOps experience.
• Test management tools, such as: Jira, XRay for Jira, TestRail, ALM, Zephyr.
• Scrum certification (preferred).
• SAFe certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of performance and security testing (preferred).
• Experience in politically sensitive environments (preferred).
• Fluent in spoken and written Dutch (C1 level) and English.
