QA Technician

• Perform dimensional inspection and First Article measurement for incoming and supplier samples.
• Program, set up, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring instruments.
• Generate FAI / PPAP dimensional reports in accordance with AS9102 or customer requirements.
• Support the Supplier Quality and Engineering teams in validating supplier process capability and product conformance.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and measurement system analysis (MSA).
• Ensure all tasks are comply to company procedural requirements, Quality, Environmental and Health standards (ISO 9001, AS9100D, ISO 14001, ISO45001) and Customer Specific requirements.
• Maintain completeness and correctness of IQA Inspections documents, reports and records.
• Update and ensure accuracy of SAP Result Recording and SAP Usage Decision making.
• Verification of Inspection Report (ATR) and/or Inspection Plan (IP).
• Regular response to email queries and action request.
• Liaise with Section in-charge, other Section Leaders, Customer Quality and Process Engineer for technical clarification.
• Undertake additional QA responsibilities as and when required.
• Liaise with maintenance and calibration departments to ensure proper maintenance of measuring equipment and other small equipment (Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc), and monitor the calibration status.

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical / Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in CMM measurement and programming (preferred experience with Zeiss systems).
• Able to read and write English.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to read complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Clear understanding of good documentation practices and quality system regulations and requirements.
• Proficiency in general Microsoft application including MS Word and Excel.
• Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
• Knowledge of and adherence to quality system.
• Good leadership skills and ability to suggest change.
• Substantial understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work.
• Using of Optics measurement equipment (Interferometer, Coating Spectrophotometer) or Mechanical measurement equipment (Smart Scope, Profile Projector) and other small equipment (Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator etc)
