Quantitative Intern

Job Description

Quantitative Intern We are looking for a junior quant analyst/developer to join our team of two. Primary Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining operational and trading tools with basic dashboards/guis.
• Running of backtests and developing new strategies

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a quantitative/computational field
• Strong proficiency in R + Shiny preferred. Python + Dash/Streamlit would be a viable alternative
• SQL
• Finance and Derivatives knowledge useful but not mandatory

The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong computing/programming background who is interested in working in asset management. The candidate would need to be a motivated self-starter capable of acquiring knowledge and improving their skills independently. While the initial tasks would be programming heavy, the team is small and the eventual scope of responsibilities would be flexible depending on the aptitude and interest of the candidate. We are happy to consider candidates for both an internship and full time position.
