Racquet Sports Intern

Job Description:
The Racquet Sports Professional Intern will assist in delivering high-quality racquet programming, customer service, and day-to day operations at one of the premier clubs in the Midwest. This position is perfect for someone looking to make a career in the racquet sports industry. The Cincinnati Sports club offers tennis, pickleball, platform tennis, squash, badminton, and now padel. The summer position will primarily focus on tennis and some pickleball, but the opportunity to get involved/learn all the racquet sports is available.

Responsibilities

-Coaching & On-Court Support

- Assist with junior and adult clinics, camps, and private lessons

-Provide a positive and welcoming learning environment for players of all ages and skill levels

-Program Operations

-Support the execution of leagues, socials, tournaments, and special events

-Assist with the setup and execution of events and socials

-Administrative & Facility Support

-Help with monthly reports, numbers, and scheduling. Learn all the capabilities of Club Automation Software

-Assist with pro shop responsibilities (stringing, etc.)

Qualifications

Strong background in tennis/pickleball and a passion for racquet sports

Prior coaching is preferred

Excellent communications skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude

Ability to work flexible hours. Job does entail evenings and occasional weekend duties

Must be reliable, energetic, and proactive

Hourly pay based on experience

Separate rates for stringing, classes, and privates

Access to club and all facilities

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
