Real Estate Paralegal

Overview
We are seeking real estate paralegal/legal assistant for MA & RI. Responsible for all phases of residential closings from opening the file through the final title policy, pre and post-closing. Will be responsible for contact with customers, lenders and brokers on a daily basis.

What you’ll do

• Assist attorneys with legal research and document preparation for various cases, including personal injury and immigration law.
• Manage case files through effective document management systems, ensuring all records are organized and accessible.
• Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
• Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Review and proofread documents to ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
• Support litigation efforts by preparing trial materials and organizing exhibits.
• Collaborate with team members on project management tasks to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
• Utilize tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw for comprehensive legal research.

Basic qualifications

• Must have minimum 5+ experience in title and closing work.
• Must be a well-organized self-starter who is a team player and needs little training.
• Must have good knowledge of, and experience with clearing titles and understanding issues affecting title.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
