Receptionist
For Wageningen UR, the receptionist is our organization's business card and first point of contact. Customer-oriented and with a sense of hospitality, our receptionists speak to the employees, guests and students in the building. Are you the enthusiastic, flexible receptionist who puts a smile on the face of every visitor with your natural hospitality? Then we are looking for you!

Receptionist 10-20 hours a week

Your Job
Your responsibilities as a receptionist will include:
  • Providing customer-focused reception services with a strong sense of hospitality;
  • Performing simple administrative tasks;
  • Answering questions from employees, guests and students;
  • Registering and monitoring people entering or leaving the building;
  • Handling emergency response reports in collaboration with the head of emergency response/team leader in the event of an emergency.
A reception shift consists of approximately 5 hours and there are 2-4 shifts available per week, including Friday afternoons. Leave and sick leave are covered by the team. This means that you can work extra hours.

Your team
Within our Facilities Support department, we provide facility services within the research and education buildings of Wageningen University & Research. We do this with over 130 facilities employees and receptionists and 3 team leaders, spread over more than 14 buildings.

Facility Management is a broadly oriented organizational unit within WUR and responsible for a wide range of services: from housing to automation, from sports facilities to coffee machines and from reception services to purchasing and library services. In addition to these first-rate employee benefits, you will of course receive a good salary. We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between €2.697,- and €3.231,- for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 4). As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended on good performance.

You also have:
  • A minimum availability of 3-4 days per week, between 6:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.;
  • MBO 4 level;
  • Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English;
  • Affinity with computer systems (including knowledge of and experience with MS Office);
  • First aid certificate or willingness to obtain one;
  • High degree of flexibility with regard to working hours and in the event of illness and leave of colleagues.
