The Role
Join us as a Senior Recruiter and own the end to end hiring journey—from smart sourcing and behavioral assessment to offer design. You’ll be the go to advisor for the business, turning market intelligence and hiring data into decisions that move the dial. With strong pipelines, clear SLAs and a candidate experience that reflects our EVP, you’ll help leaders hire faster and better while shaping our workforce for what’s next.

- Partner with a dedicated sourcing team to build and maintain pipelines for difficult or recurring roles.
- Work closely with our Employer Branding team to shape compelling, market-specific EVP messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including intake, sourcing, assessment, stakeholder calibration, offer design, and onboarding coordination.
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies across multiple channels (job boards, referrals, networks, social platforms).
- Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews to assess technical fit and culture alignment.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for recurring and niche roles.
- Provide data-driven hiring insights and market intelligence to stakeholders.
- Use hiring dashboards and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and optimize hiring outcomes.
Stakeholder & Business Partnering
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned business units, ensuring excellent stakeholder experience.
- Develop strong, consultative relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders, understanding their talent needs and aligning recruitment solutions.
- Lead regular cadence meetings to discuss hiring progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Partner with business leaders to forecast hiring needs, develop workforce plans and improve recruitment readiness.
- Manage expectations, negotiate timelines, and ensure alignment on role requirements and candidate profiles.
Process Excellence & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, documentation standards, and data accuracy across systems.
- Track and report key metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline updates, candidate conversion rates, etc.).
- Identify process improvements and contribute to best practices across the Recruitment function.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australia market trends, competitor talent strategies, and industry movements.

Qualifications
- Ideally a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- 5–10 years of recruitment experience, ideally in a corporate or agency environment.
- Background in hiring for insurance and/or broking roles highly preferred.
- Experience managing internal clients/stakeholders across multiple levels and business units.
- Strong background in full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles (professional, technical, or specialized).
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality delivery.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities and business acumen.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficient in leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance recruitment efficiency and decision‑making.
- Skilled in using ATS platforms, Microsoft Office, Excel, reporting dashboards, and sourcing tools.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
Preferred Experience
- Preferably has experience recruiting across insurance and/or broking roles.
- Ideally has handled insurance/broking recruitment in an Australian agency or comes from similar industry and hiring exposure.
- Experience hiring for insurance, tech, shared services, or multinational environments.
- Exposure to employer branding, talent mapping, or recruitment marketing.
- Background working with cross-functional or matrixed teams.
