The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team:
Shopee’s AI Strategy Product team works across business, product, and technology functions to drive the adoption of AI across platforms and internal operations. This entry-level role is designed for fresh graduates who are interested in building AI-enabled products, learning end-to-end product management, and contributing to AI-driven transformation initiatives at scale.

About the Team:
At Shopee, AI is a core enabler for scaling products, improving productivity, and supporting data-driven decision-making. The AI Strategy Product team sits at the intersection of product management, AI capabilities, and organisational transformation, partnering with Regional and Local teams to deliver impactful AI initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to AI product execution, cross-functional collaboration, and regional-level problem-solving.
Job Description:
  • Lead the end-to-end ownership of AI-enabled products and strategic initiatives, from problem framing and roadmap definition to launch and optimisation
  • Partner closely with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to design scalable AI solutions
  • Define product strategy, requirements, success metrics, and evaluation frameworks to measure AI performance and business impact
  • Establish AI governance, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop processes to ensure reliability and responsible deployment
  • Drive cross-functional and cross-market alignment, managing dependencies and execution risks
  • Develop executive-ready materials, dashboards, and insights to communicate AI outcomes and trade-offs to senior leadership
  • Stay abreast of AI and GenAI advancements, assessing their relevance and translating them into product opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
  • Minimally 1 year of experience in Product Management, Strategy, Program Management, or related roles
  • Hands-on experience delivering AI-powered, automation, or data-driven products is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of AI systems, including model capabilities, limitations, and evaluation considerations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience defining metrics and interpreting performance data
  • Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across regions
  • Excellent communication, structured thinking, and execution skills
  • Experience scaling AI products or platforms across multiple markets
  • Exposure to AI lifecycle management, monitoring, or governance frameworks
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders (e.g. OKRs, roadmaps, impact reporting)
  • Background in building internal tools or productivity platforms
