Registered Dental Assistant (Rda)

Modesto Dental Studio is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our expanding Modesto Dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dental care and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to the success of our practice and the overall oral health of our patients.
The Dental Assistant role requires a hard-working individual who can also deliver a comfortable experience for our patients.

The hourly wage range for this position is $25- $30 per hour, depending on experience.

Deal Breaker: minimum 2 years of Dental assisting experience, Bilingual (English/ Spanish) are required. please don't waste your time if you don't meet those criteria.

Availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays., more days are available as well.

What you’ll be accountable for:

• Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including all Oral Surgery procedures.
• Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions they may have. Obtain and record patient's dental history and vital signs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, as well as maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
• Radiography: Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as per dentist's instructions. Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety measures are followed.
• Educational Support: Instruct patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Educate patients on the importance of maintaining good oral health.
• Kids cleaning and prophy.
• Temporary crowns fabrication and cementation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
