Renovation Carpenter

We are seeking a renovation carpenter with experience in extensions and full home renovations. As well as kitchen, basement and bathrooms.

The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, the ability to work independently and with others, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness on the job site.

A background in residential carpentry, particularly with renovations, is a must. Being a registered apprentice/journeyperson will be considered an asset.

Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential. Safety is a top priority on all job sites, and adherence to proper safety protocols is required. Appropriate workwear must be worn at all times. A respectful and professional work environment is expected and necessary.

We cover St. John's, Mount Pearl, Conception Bay South, Paradise and some surrounding areas.

Own transportation is a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry tasks including but not limited to -- framing, trim, drywall, some flooring, install windows and doors, demo, site prep, among others.
• Read and interpret plans, and project descriptions to ensure accurate construction and renovation.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively in various projects.
• Collaborate with team members to complete renovations on time and within budget.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
• Own transportation is a must.

Wages are determined by experience and ability.

Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour
