This Post-Doc position is offered at the Chair of Social and Organisational Psychology within the Department of Sociology and Social Psychology.

YOUR TASKS

• Plan, conduct, and lead independent research projects within the chair‘s research areas, such as (perceptions of) attitudes, ambivalence, and social judgments and behavior
• Publish research findings in high-quality, peer-reviewed international journal
• Contribute to ongoing research projects at the chair
• Prepare and submit applications for competitive third-party research funding (individually and in collaboration with others)
• Contribute to teaching in the faculty’s degree programmes
• Actively contribute to the research environment in the department and the Center for Social and Economic Behavior

YOUR PROFILE

• Doctoral degree in psychology, behavioral economics, or a related discipline
• Strong motivation to pursue an academic career
• Excellent methodological and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High level of curiosity, initiative, and independence in research-related work
• Working language is English; German is optional

The position is available immediately on a full-time basis (39,83 hours per week). The position is to be filled for a fixed term until three years with the possibility for prolongation.
